​Muslim Cemetery Project

Serving Muslims in Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty and surrounding areas

Project Status

Deposit required by Johnson County:
Johnson County requires that we have $25,000 of Cemetery Care Funds in the bank account for maintenance of the cemetery ground.

Phase I: COMPLETED
- Purchased 6 acres of farmland:
   (Cost = $105,000)
- Hired Contractor to work on the
   approval process:
   (Cost = $10,000)

Phase II: COMPLETED
   (Cost = $75,000)
- Construct foundations for the
  access road
- Construct Bio-retention cell and
  the drainage system

Phase III: IN PROGRESS
- Shed for the equipment
   (Estimated $8,000)
- Road completion (Estimated
  $67,000)
- Fence Wire/Steel/Gate
  (Estimated $59,000)
